Blanton's Bourbon is the world's first commercially released single-barrel bourbon, introduced in 1984 by Elmer T. Lee to create a "super premium" category. Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery and aged in metal Warehouse H, it is famous for its high-rye mash bill, complex tasting notes of baking spices, caramel, and dried fruit, and iconic horse-and-jockey stoppers.
